Make Your Booking Page Stand Out ✨

Happy Monday, everyone!

Today, we’re talking about your booking page and how to make it appealing to potential clients.

  • Have a high-quality profile photo - Utilizing a high-quality photo of yourself or your business logo is a great choice to instill confidence in your clients.
  • Write a robust “about me” - Clients want to know who they’re booking with, so help them get to know you. Share how long you’ve been in the industry, what they can expect when booking a service with you, and some things you love outside of work to help build an early connection.
  • Have a clear, easy-to-understand service menu - Naming your services with titles that are easy to understand (even for individuals who may not be well-versed in the industry) is important to give clients the confidence to book. Using the description section to help explain the intended outcome of the service is also helpful!
  • Create a vivid photo gallery - You do amazing work, so show it off! Share high-quality photos of the services you offer and of your business location. Clients want to know that they’re making a safe and reliable choice when choosing a Professional and photos are a great way to reassure them that booking with you is the right choice!
    • Note: Tagging your services in your photos will both make it easy for clients to know what they’re seeing in an image and boost your search ranking - it’s a win-win!
  • Receive positive reviews - Knowing that other clients have had positive experiences with a Professional is one of the best ways to signal to clients that they’ll have a great experience with you. Encourage your clients to leave a review after their appointment to help build up these success stories!

So beyond tagging the picture with the service. Are you suggest to had like a hashtag in the description. Because I’ve done all that and nothing.

Hi @Rootedlocstudio! Welcome to the forum, we’re so excited to have you here! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

To help make your booking page stand out, in addition to the steps you’ve already taken, we recommend encouraging clients to leave reviews after their appointments. You can also share the link shown in the box pictured below with your existing clients and ask them to write you a review. Reviews are a great business boosting tool!

I also recommend checking out this article and processing as many payments as possible though StyleSeat. If you have any questions, please let us know! :sparkles:

What is an appropriate booking deposit? I’ve seen profesionals chargel 50% of the appointment, $50, $20. I’m not sure what to charge especially with inflation and I don’t want to deter a client from booking that’s new.

Hi Tydeah! This is a great question. I think it’s important to communicate to your clients that the deposit amount goes toward their service cost, so they aren’t paying anything extra - just securing their spot!

If a client reschedules, their deposit will be applied to their new appointment. You also have the option to refund deposits at your discretion.

To make sure our StyleSeat Pro Community Members see this, I recommend starting a thread with this question so it shows up in everyone’s feed when they log on to the forum!
