hi shamika
I’m curious - how do you deal with client expectations vs. what is realistically possible depending on their hair type, length, etc.?

Hello William, thank you so much for you question . And to answer your question honestly just being open and honest with your client . It’s your job to provide them with more options realistically speaking being that you are the stylist . A lot of clients see pictures and immediately want what they see not thinking about everything else that comes with making sure it is a success so yes as the stylist it’s your job to be open and honest with the client of what can and cannot be done . And I’ve found that clients happen to be happier when you do because some of them just simple do not know …

How do you approach creating content that’s engaging for TikTok/reels?

hey shamika! I’m considering adding travel options to my service menu so I was wondering how you go about pricing for your travel styling services?

First off I think that it is amazing that you are considering adding traveling to your services . I’ve found that a lot of clients actually prefer it ! As far as charging I personally charge based on how far the client is from me , time wise . Like to travel 30mins or less my prices start at $40 . Although have seen some people that charge $100+ for house calls . Or you could also charge based on mileage . It’s kind of more so what you think makes sense for you and your services .

Honestly creating content isn’t my strongest point just yet BUT I can say from what I’ve created so far . Just simply being myself keeping things short and simple . Looking at different trends and people with the same niche and kind of merging ideas together . And from there you just play with different things to see exactly what will work for you !
