Patty has been part of StyleSeat’s Customer Success Team for nearly 5 years. In her time with us, she’s had the opportunity to work with many amazing professionals in our community, with a focus on high-value and established Pros.

The Customer Success Team specializes in helping Professionals utilize their StyleSeat accounts to manage and elevate their businesses. They provide guidance to help achieve marketing, revenue, and business goals by customizing your StyleSeat experience to align with your specific business needs. In her role as a Team Lead, Patty oversees this process and the team of Customer Success Managers who make it happen on a daily basis.

In her free time, Patty loves cozying up to a good crime show or attending a yoga class in her neighborhood!

Hey Alicia, thanks for reaching out! We know a lot of professionals who come to StyleSeat and use the platform to grow their business. I find that utilizing our growth features like the New Client Connection can be a great driver for new clients and steady business growth. Accept new clients with this feature, keep your StyleSeat profile up to date, and abide by our marketplace rules. We’ll do the rest to keep you high in our search directory, market you across search engines, and send more clients your way!

Using your StyleSeat to complete payments and book appointments will really help you with the visibility and management of your revenue, doing these marketplace rules will also help get you more clients! Setting up your payments on StyleSeat will not only help you manage and receive client payments so you have time for more bookings, but we’ll also be able to organize and keep all your transactions in one place so you can easily track your business and set up your goals. We’ll also ensure clients continue booking with you in the future!

I also recommend looking out for emails from our Lifecycle and Marketing teams and incorporating these with your business! They have great seasonal business practices, and up-to-date product releases that may help you or your clients :hugs:

I could use your advice! I live in an area with a lot of stylists. I find that competition, especially for new clients is hard. How do I stand out and attract more clients?

Hey Alicia, offering more specialized services to different categories of clients is one way to grow your business. Many clients come to StyleSeat every day in search of a local professional who can help them. The more amazing photos and different looks you have on your profile, the more client traffic and possible bookings you will receive on your page.

Getting all of your clients imported into StyleSeat as well as setting up their recurring appointments will be another great way to have constant bookings and revenue.

This is such a great question, we find that keeping up to date with your StyleSeat profile, utilizing our growth features, and offering more specialized services to a wider range of clients is a great way to attract more business. Highlighting and showcasing your amazing work with photos and service descriptions through your profile will help you stand out! Ensuring your profile is complete with your About Me section, correct address, and phone number, will increase your profile status, gain more profile visibility, and attract more clients.

Completing your StyleSeat profile and abiding by our Marketplace Rules will also leave you in great standing with our New Client Connection. I recommend utilizing this feature to its full potential and getting more client bookings your way, let us do your marketing for you! I also recommend sending email marketing campaigns to clients in your area to let them know of your location and the great services you offer, don’t forget to include your booking link so clients can book you directly this away! :star_struck:

I’ve come across Pros who will forever be a part of our StyleSeat family, and who’ve built lasting relationships within our community! One of the more memorable interactions I’ve had with Pros is when I interviewed them about their experiences and how they’ve used StyleSeat to run their business. It’s an honor to hear about some of our Pros’ goals and personal challenges, and how StyleSeat has helped them navigate through these.

It’s always so great when Pros take the time out of their busy days to chat with me and offer insights and feedback that may help our teams build a better experience for them in the future. Every month, we assess if you’ve met the following criteria. If you meet the program requirements by the end of each month, you’ll automatically become a Top Pro! Meeting these standards ensures you earn or maintain your Top Pro status.

Our four main Top Pro standards are; Maintaining an overall rating of 4.8 or higher, assuring clients of your best service. Completing 6 or more client bookings per month, assuring clients of your experience. Accepting over 75% of new clients introduced by our New Client Connection program, the more new clients you welcome and provide a great experience, the higher your potential for earnings. Lastly, having few appointment cancellations from your end, while we understand special occasions or emergencies may require changes, minimizing cancellations ensures peace of mind for clients and assures your reliability. A quick note that if you meet the program requirements by the end of every month, you’ll automatically become a Top Pro - no need to apply :heart:

I do all the things you list and I only get one to two new clients through the connection sometimes not that. In the beginning it was great but now it’s different since they did an update on the system. I was thinking about just shutting it off

Hi @pfernandez! What is your process or advice if a pro is operating in an area that does not have a demand for the services they provide or the area is oversaturated with pros providing the same service so it makes it difficult to find new clients?

Hey Bam, thanks for reaching out! I’m so sorry to hear about your recent experience with New Client Connections. We updated some of our marketplace rules to continue to ensure the best experience for you and your clients, so I recommend following these as much as possible to continue receiving new client connections. The important rules are to accept or decline a new client appointment within 24 hours, not significantly lowering your new client appointment total amounts, and lastly make sure to complete these new client appointments on your StyleSeat payments.

Here are also some ways to get noticed in Search by clients. Remind new clients to leave you a review. Tag your photos to your services. Fill in your About Me section with details including location, and pinning photos to highlight specific services or seasonal offerings. I hope some of this helps! :two_hearts:
