@Wigsplitters Did you find it necessary to make any changes to your service menu or prices when you moved?

@Wigsplitters Congrats on all of your success! Relocating can be very challenging and I applaud your hustle to re-establish your business in Georgia. They are lucky to have you!

I’ve heard from other Pros in the industry that continued learning is an interest for them, but they don’t know where to start.

I see you’ve been in the industry for a few years, I’d love to learn more about how you go about continuing learning and education after being established in the industry for so long?

My advice is keep going no matter what. You are gonna have slow days and slow seasons. Don’t let them break you. Stay focused on your short and long term goals. Keep learning and stay dedicated to your craft and everything else will fall in place in time.

Some goals i have for myself this year are to increase my clientele in Georgia and to hopefully collaborate with a big clipper brand on social media.

Definitely. I had to lower my prices for sure. The city i am in now is significantly smaller and slower paced than south florida. I had to be mindful of that.

Thank you. Continued learning is very important if you want to stay relevant in this industry. I would say traveling to the conventions and expos is a great way to continue learning in our industry. They offer many classes and live sessions. They also keep you up to date with the new and future tools and equipment that’s available. Do your research and plan ahead . And if you aren’t able to make the conventions try looking for local classes. Some professionals even offer classes and tutorials on youtube.
